To ensure the best results and minimize irritation, please follow these guidelines before your treatment:

  • Avoid at home peels or intense exfoliation 2 weeks prior to your appointment.

  • Avoid excessive sun exposure, tanning beds and self-tanners. Casey will not treat with a real or fake tan!

  • Arrive with clean skin and no makeup, lotions or sunscreen on the treatment area.

General Pre-Treatment Care for Injectables

  • Avoid alcohol and blood-thinning medications or supplements such as aspirin, ibuprofen, Advil and fish oil for ideally 3-7 days prior to your injections

  • Arrive with clean skin and no makeup, lotions or sunscreen on the treatment area.

  • If able, take oral Arnica as directed for 2-3 days prior to your appointment. This will mitigate bruising very well.

General Post Treatment Care for your Laser, Microneedling or Chemical Peel

After your treatment, proper care will help support healing and optimal results:

  • Use gentle skincare products and avoid active ingredients for several days.

  • Avoid sun exposure and wear SPF daily.

  • Avoid heat, exercise, saunas and hot tubs for 72 hours unless otherwise instructed.

  • Do not pick, peel or irritate the treated area.

  • Mild redness, swelling or sensitivity may occur and usually resolves within a few days.

  • You will receive a post treatment skincare kit for your laser treatment. Casey tailors this to your specific skin type, recovery and needs and will include regimen instructions.

General Post Treatment Care for your Injectables

  • Mild redness, swelling or soreness may occur and usually resolves within a few days.

  • Bruising may also occur and usually resolves within a few days. Casey does have a laser she uses to help minimize bruising that works great. She will use this post injections if she sees signs of bruising starting.

  • Depending on which injections administered, Casey will review your post treatment instructions that may include not touching or manipulating the treated areas for a certain amount of time. Or they may include massaging the treated areas a few times a day for a few days.

* Please note: Pre- and post-treatment instructions may vary depending on the procedure or if multiple treatments are performed during the same visit. Your provider will review any specific care instructions with you at your appointment. *
